Following up on my previous post.. These came in last week and finally got a chance to take photos. As part of Nike’s “Back For the Future” Air Mag auction frenzy to raise money and fight Parkinson’s disease this past September, I was among a handful of artists who created special art for the campaign. Just being involved was cool enough, but lo and behold, almost 3 months later a pretty insane “Thank You” arrived via FedEx in the form of hoverboards featuring the commissioned artwork by La Boca, Will Sweeney, Kate Gibb, and myself. Created for Nike’s Back For The Future event at LA’s Montalban Theater to raise money for the Michael J Fox Foundation’s fight against Parkinson’s Disease.

Four different artists were approached to create an original “movie poster” in their style for the event. I chose to “remix” the DeLorean using my collage approach. And the logo is actually a typeface that I created years ago but never found a project to flex with it. I’m pretty overloaded these days, but this was too exciting of an opportunity… and for a worthy cause of course.

Now if only I could get my hands on those damn kicks…
